Why we need a single type of dungeon token.
I don’t agree.. once that happens no one will ever run the variety of dungeons… people will farm only Citadel Of Flames… so there will be no point for the other dungeons to even exist…
however, a trading npc is possible… lets say you wanna trade 50 AC tokens to CM just for example so instead of 50 you get 45… or something like that… or get the same amount but lose some gold[depends on the amount you trade..]
Friend A: “Hey I’d like to do this dungeon because the skins for it are great. Wanna come with me?”
Friend B: “Oh sorry, I don’t like the skins there. I will go for another dungeon.”
Friend A: Fancy doing a run in x dungeon with me? I’ll do a dungeon you want then, or we can do your dungeon first. I don’t mind since I’m not in a rush to get the skins.
Friend B: Awesome.
Surely co-operative people and guild members would be willing to accompany you if you help them out?
Time is a river.
The door is ajar.
I like nir’s idea of trading 50 for 45 or a similar amount. That would be cool as well.
A 2:1 ratio for trading might work, but it leads to the same problem. Tokens shouldn’t be the only reason to do dungeons though, so maybe thats the primary issue.
Have a set of neutral tokens that drop in all dungeons that can be traded in for any tokens.
Anet didn’t need to introduce dungeon tokens at all. Especially in a game which isn’t relying on monthly subscriptions.
Personally, I seriously dislike having a special set of stats 100% unavailable to me, unless if I grind dungeons untill I fall down my chair of pure excitement. Because you never know what is around the next corner in a dungeon. Very exciting !!
