Will they ever have better stats then a 995-1100 exo? for all the godamm hard work it needs it sure better get upgraded…

i’ve never liked wow, nor it’s graphics nor it’s comunity, the fact that a legenadary costs so much on tp and needs a kittenload of work to get just to look somehow, which isnt really THAAAT cool,isnt worth it, it should do more then just be a skin.Period.

It will become ascended stats when ascended weaponry comes out. We shall see what happens to transmuted legendaries, though.

Legendaries will never become better than the best weapon tier. Simply because grinding for a looooong time should not be required to be strongest.

Technically, yes the weapons will be upgraded (as Espien pointed out) to match ascended weapons when they are released. Will they go past them? Only if another tier comes out. Legendaries are cosmetics, most with stunning visual effects. If you don’t care for the looks legendaries are not your cup of tea to brew.

There is a nice game called World of Warcraft if you want a game where time investment decides how good you are instead of gaming skills. This game you are good cause you are good at the game, not because you grinded for hours and hours and hours.

If you like grinding you can get the legendary skin and show off. But it shouldnt make you a better player period.

Comparing games is natural but these forums are about gw2, so stick to it :/

The problem I have with suggestions like this is that I dislike the way a game like WoW is created. I dislike the graphics and the whole keep people addicted attitude. I prefer the GW-franchise big time. However I see how former wow-players are really being tampered to become a gw2 player (wich is awesome btw). But this is allready making me as a GW1 lover somewhat annoyed, and the balance between pleasing a new player base (WoW or LOTRO, or SWTOR, or any other game) and pleasing your loyal day one fans is allready a bit wrong. So I’m against any suggestion that makes this game more like WoW and less like GW.

I also distance myself from your remark as if I always bring WoW up. If you go through my messages you will see that I talk bout that game in bout 1% of all my posts on this forum.

First of all they need to look better. To me the skins on most of the legendaries are NOT worth the trouble to work for.

1. Bows are to girly looking with all the flowers and such.

2. Quip looks like it was my by a circus clown.

I have a ranger and engineer that i would love to have a legendary weapon for but just the look of those alone makes all the trouble NOT worth it to me. At the least give us a couple skin looks for each like u have dont with the Greatswords !!
