Buy a precursor with 3 million karma but can only be done once every 6 months. Please do.

I think it’d be a good way to take the rng out of the equation and divert away from the whole cof farm to win mentality that’s going on. 3 mil is a lot but well with the reach of someone farming for their legendary. Imo it would give karma a good use since now it really isn’t used for anything aside from leveling crafting and obi shards. I’m a crafting master with all the obi shards I need. What use do I have for any other karma I may accumulate?

Karma can be easily farmed for Botters,so although i like your idea of having more ways of getting a legendary.Botters will abuse this Heavily.

No,this just creates a new problem it doesn;t solve a thing,no more pecursors,or legendarys to be bought on the broker is not a good idea.

Why not laurels? Anyway, I’ll second the request for a reliable method to acquire precursors which doesn’t involve farming gold.

How is this an issue at all? Do you not know how hard it is to farm insane amounts of karma? Not to mention you need another 1 mil for the gifts. Even with that known, the gold cost is still significantly higher than the karma cost. This would only help to balance the issue.

Think about it this way. Gold for farming legendary = Precursor, gift of might, gift of magic, icy runestones, gift of legendary, clovers, and 250 ectos.

Karma cost = 250 obi shards and clovers. That’s it.

I forgot to mention it also costs 10g per recipe you need in order to make the gifts to make a legendary. For incinerator, that’s another 30g gold sink. Gift of incinerator, gift of metal, gift of liquid flame. Not sure if it varies for any legendary but that’s the example I used.

Are you kidding ? Karma is the easiest thing to farm in the game.

1 can get about 1 mil a month. Maybe 1.5 and that’s including pots. So that’d take at least 2-3 months to farm enough for the percursor and another 1ish for the obi shards. Sounds balanced around the legendary run I think.

Precursor reqs:

• 3 mill karma.
• World Completion.
• Rank 10 in sPvP.
• Rank 5 in WvWvW.
• Completed personal history.
• Completed all dungeons, in all paths.

I’d rather have the scavenger hunt, since that sounds way more fun than a karma grind… :/

Since we haven’t heard a peep about the hunt in months, I’d take anything over this nothingness
