Already created a topic title World Completion? ….. ones but strangly when I search the forum I get no hits, so to start it up again.
World Completion and WvW, what’s up with it??

On my first character I was able to finish world completion by changing homeworlds and getting the points and vista’s I needed. But sinds the change (gems) I have been waiting and waiting for this so called “ROTATION” but after a month have not seen a single change.

I think the solution is very simple, create the points and vista’s outside the castles and keeps so players will be able to reach them. What is the point in making them unreachable, is this just a money pit for ArenaNet? Don’t they want players to finish world completion? It has been said they changed it because ppl were abusing the system and changing sides at the last moment so they ended up on the wining side, I can understand you wanting to correct that but in doing so you created a whole new problem that apparently you don’t wanna fix because of the income.

So to all GW2 players out there if you also hate this issue, write a bug report to ArenaNet. Very easily thru the Game menu -> Support -> Report A Bug.
They don’t reply to individual messages/reports but perhaps if enough of us report they will take this seriously.
Please Anet prove me wrong and show me you care more about the game and players then the money.

With this new system, you should be able to get a new color a lot simpler than before. Personally, this past month, I’ve been every color.

Statistically speaking, you don’t have a 33% chance of being any specific color, but you do have a much higher chance than before (which was based on a lot of skill variables).

I might be wrong as I’m not really doing any math to come up with the 33% chance. It’s because off the top of my head, you have to calculate the variation variable on your neighboring world rankings and your own world rankings, then calculate the probability of you ending up as X color in a multitude of variations. In the end, I have no idea.

Really? Tell me the secret because I have been waiting and waiting for more then a month now and have only been red in the upper corner of my WvW.

New system relies on RNG to denote what team you are on. Trust me, I waited my 9 weeks to get 100% Map Completion. Once you stop doting on it, it comes by faster.

Once I decided to go for 100% map completion I waited 4 months and never got a shot at finishing the WvW maps. (I’m looking at you, Stonemist Castle!). We were ALWAYS fighting the same opponents and ALWAYS getting the same results. Two weeks after they announced they would begin rotation, they finally did so with my server. 2 weeks later I got world completion on 2 characters.

Post your server name here. Maybe the GW2 team will see it and say “Uh, guys… did we forget about this server?”
