I’m working on my world completion for my second character and again i’m facing the difficulties of finishing my goal. In order to get it completed I have to do a 100% of WvW but as many may know this isn’t easy. one or two maps in WvW can be done but the Eternal Battleground’s almost never changes in just one conqueror.
I suggest that points of interest and Vista’s are being put at different locations (atleast outside the fortresses so that as a player you can atleast reach your goal). Stil putting them close to the fort can still make it dangerous and difficult to get but atleast it will be possible.
The only way for me now to get completion is either change homeworld (probably 2 times) to finish (costing me a lot of gems) or wait till (by the grace of the gods) my side will take over the map with the points I still need to do (Not Dishing my Homeworld BUT I DON’T SEE THIS HAPPENING ANYTIME SOON)
So to all you World Completers out there, If you concur please write, twitter, post, call or whatever to let ArenaNet know we want a change.
If any of you have different suggestions or solutions to this problem please let me know.

Wait a week doesn’t apply in most cases. I was trying to finish map completion in EB for weeks on JQ when we were in the top slot (green). It was nigh-impossible to get into the red zones of EB.

The idea I usually post on these threads remains the same. Have the BL and EB start zones cycle each week independently of server rank. Simple and I don’t see any reason this would become a problem. If anything, it forces you to learn the map (especially EB) better since every week you’ll be fighting from a different perspective.

The Devs said they are working on rotating the colors, separating them from rank. If they get that put in, that should solve most of the problems.

The rotation is already there. Though I have yet to be put in the bottom right zone, which I have been waiting for +/- a month now.

Wel rotation aside. My thoughts are that the WvW should not really be part of the world completion. It should be goals you can do without changing homeworlds or waiting months to complete. I still believe that changing the locations of the points and vista’s would be better for everybody.
