Now near finished all PVE world mapping yet due to our server’s losses the past month in Wvw some maps are impossible.
Please consider removing the Wvw maps from general World completion and perhaps add an additional category for Wvw mapping.

The funny thing is that I heard WvWers say the same thing about the PvE maps but to be fair the WvW maps are far more situational and out of the players control to complete where as the PvE ones are always accessible.

This would be far less of a problem if servers didn’t systematically get assigned to the same colour.

As long as servers “rotate” their colour (ex., a server that is green during one match becomes red on the next, blue on the next, etc – either sequentially or randomly), players from any server will eventually get access to most POIs.

Currently, the colour only seems to change when a server’s ranking changes.

I think it’s acceptable to have some required markers in WvW, but they shouldn’t require actually capturing any structures. Maybe Arena Net could simply increase their radius, so that the POI can be “discovered” just by walking up to the wall of the keep.

i like the larger discovery circle idea. as a scrub, myself, i would like this option. or an option to freely roam, with limitations on taking damage and dealing damage. an option leaving the spawn area to disable my interaction with the realms, so i can freely navigate to completion would be acceptable.

or just move the POIs from the inside to the outside of the forts. still have to zerg close enough (and survive), so that should not be a big deal. also, vista’s should have an immunity bubble the activates every few minutes, and lasts for 10-15 seconds. this allows players to “cap” the vista and then run off and not get insta-ganked there.

I totally agree. The enemy behaviour is more erratic which makes map completion undoable in the most part.

It would be nice to see WvW out (just like why is it in the non-PvP monthlies?) BUT that said, since I have gone crazy and decided to do the Legendary path, the badges are required anyhow, so I will be spending the time in WvW to get those.

Sure, I am stuck at 98% and can’t get it NOW, but do I need it NOW? It’s going to take a while to get the badges and the Deady Blooms (which is even more frustrating since I already don’t like needing to find other people to play dungeons with).

If someone is desperate to have their Legendary NOW, then either buck up and buy one on the trading post or find a game intended for short lifespan play. I am working on the premise that I’ll be playing this game for the next 7 years (lifespan of GW1).
