I like this idea actually. But, there should be a ‘unable to repair’ internal CD when a siege is under attack by a group of players. So that the Siege cannot just be ‘repaired’ while the players are being CC’d and distracted.
and, I really want a siege Decay Timer on each siege. A blue bar under the health bar of the seige, so we can all see where the siege is on its decay timers!
and to make it more insane to get, maybe have a new WvW trait line for each siege for repairs. 5 points per bar, each bar is 1%,2%,3%,5%,8%,10%…ect per supply used (can be teamed with the repair mastery to dump more supply in repair for siege so 6 supply *3% for 15points into your Siege Repair line (Ram’s for example)). That way there is more control on this new feature and requires a bit more investment then just 115 points.

I like this idea. Don’t understand why the idea wasn’t implemented in the first place, rank points or not… but this idea is certainly a good one… +1
Sirsquishy, you do realize that Siege Decay Timers already exist, correct? It’s a little “Castle” icon that is blue and right above the siege bar when you click or mount on it.
In terms of being under attack, that is already in place via the 3 minute timer for an objective to dictate whether it is under attack or not. As for other player-dropped siege, what is 10 supply going to do when you could’ve built a siege in a more strategic location? One that clearly cannot be attacked, while attacking another siege.
A new WvW rank mastery is an iffy, but it would make it easier for Anet to control the amount of rank points required and reduce their coding work involved.

I like the idea of being able to repair siege. I would rather it cost 2x-3x the cost in supply (when building it originally) though instead of having to unlock them by maxing out one of the siege lines in our panel.. And make it so that the owner can only repair it.
Inspiration is only as good as it’s interpreter
