The issue:
PvP players have to grind PvE to take part in WvW.

The consequence:
PvP players are mad because they’re getting cut off of half of their content.

The solution:
Make Ascended Gear available through Honor.

The result:
PvP players can take part in WvW without being forced to PvE

Comment
Since sPvP-gear stays the same, there is no balancing issue.
It is a trade-off between skins / WvW access.
So people at least can choose.

Anet announced sPvP and PvE would be completely split, this suggestion would change that.
However, Anet also announced there would be no power circle.
The above solution would allow to even it out a little for sPvP players.
