Currently the team which starts to gain grounds has it easier and easier to conquer the rest. This is due orb/world bonuses and that winning team’s nodes accumulate supplies and upgrades.

Another contributing factor is the underdog teams get discouraged to defend against superior numbers. The underdogs easily fragment and resort to hit and run tactics losing all major nodes and whatever upgrades there were. This makes buying any upgrades unattractive.

Let’s make defending nodes the easier the fewer your team has them.

The difficulty could be achieved by helping the underdog team’s defences:

  • enchant NPC strength/health/numbers/respawn rates/abilities
  • increase wall/gate health
  • supplies in newly captured towers
  • anti-siege weapons in newly captured towers
  • ranged damage platforms in towers that are difficult fire upon
    • arrowslits which protect against AoE
  • providing defending players advantages near towers/camps
    • health/attribute bonuses near defended nodes

The advantages would be gradually lost as the underdog team regains ground.
