Since i’m not a serious WvW player, i can’t say if it really is a problem but i’ve seen many people complaining about:
- Doing JP doesnt contribute to the WvW fight (besides getting a few blueprints and badges)
- People who do JP take away WvW player spots and block the queue for people who want to fight for points

On the other side:
- I really really love that JP since it has PvP in it and it wouldnt fit anywhere but in WvW.
- I have to agree, that players who actually fight for points in WvW should have priority over those who come only for the JP.
- Im also sure, that the JP is a major source of blueprints for many players. Especially those who are not rich in gold or badges.

Since taking the JP out of WvW entirely (wich many people suggested) isn’t an option, i thought about this solution:
- When a player enters the JP, a countdown (of 10 minutes?) will start.
– If the player completes the puzzle within that time, he can normally portal or waypoint back into WvW. I think we can all agree, that that little amount of time is actually worth the blueprints and badges for the world.
– If the countdown runs out before the player completes the puzzle, their WvW spot gets closed and a new spot will open for a player who is queueing at that moment. The player has to queue for WvW again after completing the puzzle.
That way, people who just want to spend time in the JP (people like me and many others i know) and not contribute to WvW actively don’t block WvW progress.
I’m sure that doing this would take alot of time and redesigning things. So im not sure if it would be worth it since i dont know if its really a big issue on some servers at some times… However, i think that would be the best solution.
