WvW: Jumping Puzzles
I believe it’s part of the difficulty of the puzzle, besides as you find campers you’ll probably find someone to help you, maybe even some good guy mesmer with a portal…

Often cases you can’t get enough people to help. Should a puzzle be ruined because 3 people decide to camp deep in the puzzle? I don’t think so…
there have also been times where a entire guild will camp the entrance, hence the arrow carts.
3 reasons why Anet will not change the puzzles
1. Jumping puzzle is in a pvp area. Been attacked by opposing players is the whole point
2. Chest rewards badges
3. Chest gives siege plans (it’s strategic to prevent the enemy from gaining and using this seige against you)
This has been said by numerous people since release and it’s still exactly the same

So If I gather enough people in any castle in any W3 map and defend it like it was the end of the world and you couldn’t siege it, will you still be writing/posting about it?

I’d take screen shots and document it as proof that the system is inevitably fallible and needs a rework.

the jumping puzzle inside eternal battlegrounds and each of the 3 borderlands are fine, working as intended.
there is no need to fix what is not broken.
please do not blame the game if you are unable to beat your enemies?
my guild group of 10+ strong people were taken out by a much smaller group before.
Yeh I reckon they’re good how they are with traps and stuff. They could prevent siege, if they wanted, but i’ve not personally had too much of a terrible experience with them.
I was actually dragging people off ledges tonight, until their guild or zerg or whatever turned up and showed me not to be such as sadistic ******
It’s a blessing that pvp/e is restricted to WvW maps and they can’t bust your door down while you’re crafting in LA… ^.^

That’s a pretty kittenumption to make. I can kill 1-2 players. I can’t kill 3+ solo.
I blame a faulty system for forcing my class, which has very little AoE to use jumping puzzles in order to make a fraction of what a elemental, warrior, etc can make and then having players camp that source of income.
Its a design flaw that I do not appreciate that has multiple fixes.

So are you suggesting that a system is faulty if you cannot beat it solo? I cannot take the Stonemist Castle alone. I can kill 1-3 NPC’s bu I can’t take 4, even when no PC’s around, I cannot take it. So the system should be faulty, broken. I should take a castle, a castle in a PvP content map, solo. Those ANET developers, what were they thinking?

Again with the assumptions. I know your kind, I won’t be indulging your comments further.
Sorry to say, but I too feel there is nothing wrong with it. Yes, people are going to sit there and farm player kills but it would be no different from getting ambushed in WvW when trying to take a Keep.
