Another member suggested something that I think would work well for WvW. When you kill something, it drops an item called a “Loot Bag”, which you can double click on and it will give you a random item from it according to WvW loot tables. When you kill someone it will immediately go in to your inventory instead of dropping, so you don’t have to worry about picking up bags during combat.

So, you don’t have to worry about inventory management mid-zerg.

If it’s been suggested before, understandable, but hey, squeaky wheel.

Lol, I was just looking for a previous thread before posting haha. Beat me to it: but to recap what I said:

“for WvW the best option might be to just have the loot pop into your inventory directly as a ‘bagged’ item, and those bags then stack. This does a few things:

- You don’t lose loot if you die and it times out or you can’t get to it
- Stacking bags doesn’t clutter the inventory as badly
- When you’re done you can can take the time to open the bags and a$$e$$ (gosh really, dumb filter) what you got

Similar to how ToT bags or Wintersday gifts are simply added to ones inventory during the events in GW1."

Cheers

Edit: I will further add, that like ToT and gifts in GW1, if your inventory does fill up, additional bags are then left on the ground with a time limit (10 minutes in gw1). After that time limit, they are free-for-all grab bags to those that can pick them up the fastest.

Don’t look at me like that. Whatever you’ve heard, it’s probably not true.
