I think it would be cool if there was some sort of WvW ranking going on. You fight the other servers for a week, month, or any amount of time really. Whichever server comes out on top gets a rank up, and placed with other servers of that rank. This balances out the odds, and gives players incentive to actually play WvW. Honestly pitting myself against the same server week after week feels, well bland and boring. Especially since my server sucks right now, and we’re heavily outnumbered by our peers. With Server Ranking like this, there’d be constant rotation of servers, and fights would be more balanced. It’d be more of a fun challenge, as opposed tedious, grueling beat-downs every week. If I wanted tedium and relentless beat-downs, I’d be playing Dark Souls.

This is already in place. That is how they decide what servers you are facing each week. The only problem I see is the top servers are staying in the top and the lower ones staying in the lower tiers. The middle servers get some moving around and get changed quite often but the top and lower tier servers do not.

Forgive me for being a noob and not knowing that. Guess since I’m on the lower end, I never get to see any other servers. I started playing two/three months ago. I’m on Ferguson’s Crossing and have been facing Eredon Terrace and Sorrow’s Furnace the whole time. Maybe a more balanced version would be nice.

I am on a server that is in the middle. One week we will do good the next week we get our butts handed to us. It would get old to keep playing the same servers over and over. I think WvW should get a little better on some of the low server after the next update or two when they fix stuff in WvW. I hope it will balance out a lot of the servers and get more people in there playing.

Also, your not a noob for not knowing that. I just learned it a few weeks ago reading some of the WvW forums.
