Borliss pass is currently having its behind handed to it by the combined efforts of Yaks Bend and Embry Bay.

That I can live with; Yaks Bend is doing an amazing job rallying its players, is well organized, and has leaders who know how to run a campaign. The tacit agreement with EB puts the frosting on it.

What I don’t like, is how, by those servers spamming the WvW maps with numbers, BP is unable to get people on the map, to at least make a game of it. I have nothing to object to if we are beaten by superior organization and strategy. I do object to having any possibility of putting up a defense taken away by the mechanics of server access and resources.

The asymmetry of server population no doubt plays a role as well. I’m not sure how to address that, or if it can be addressed, but without question is having an effect on how our current match up is playing out.

This is more a complaint than a suggestion. Also you’re complaining about player power not mechanics. All the features offered to Yaks Bend are offered to Borliss Pass. It up to your server to step up and lead.

Disagree VGGnome. You missed the first part of my post; all else being equal, I’d still expect us to lose.

If you can beat me by way of having a larger force. Fine. Keeping me off the server by overloading it, not fine. I would rather lose while playing the game than fight with lag, queuing and disconnects.

The suggestion buried in this is, increase resources unless you want WvW devolve into what amounts to a “Denial of Service” competition. If that happens, I’ll just go back to PvE.
