My first proposal is that siege equipment become craftable.

My assumption is that when the meta-game for WvW becomes stable, it will become much more of a economic battle.

If we look at the economic side of WvW, siege equipment can be obtained in only 3 fashions:
- Purchased
- Jumping Puzzle
- Rare Drop

With the cost of repairs, losing worlds suffer a slippery slope in terms of economic damages suffered as they have less opportunity to gain reward from events as well as drops from player kills.

With the increase of siege weapon availability it will really put a emphasis on the supply logistics of the game. It also allow for a more effective containment on a keep or tower. I assume it would also increase the pacing of WvW in terms that the unorganized zerg would have more siege capability instead of the game of DoorWars 2 many have probably witnessed.

Perhaps it will put use to all the tier 5 crafting materials that is simply stockpiling which is driving the prices to ranges that are not even profitable to gather it.

Personally, I would like to see hails of catapult, ballista or trebuchet fire used as a suppression tactic as much as arrow carts are. Also counter siege operations, nothing more intense than a treb on treb fight.

Perhaps in the future, if the plan is to introduce more battleground maps, production locations which are used to produce siege equipment.

TL;DR: Siege weapons are fun, it should be more available, let it be crafted at a fair cost, blot out the sun.
