WvWvW Map completion aid
I can sympathize with your frustration, but I doubt this will see any changes. Dito for the jumping puzzles. Sometimes I got lucky and an “enemy” player and I did it side by side without any issues, another time I got killed by a 4 person squad…
I don’t think this trick will be of any use anymore, but when the game was just out and the WvW was matched up horribly, I found it easy to explore whole maps early in the morning (8-9am UK time) when most people where not around and hopefully my server owned the whole place. With speed boost and no enemy encounters it takes about 25-30min per borderland map, 30-40min for Eternal Battleground.
I would like them to remove every possible PvE content from WvW so we could avoid PvE carebears in PvP at all. Double win situation.

You’d still get all sorts of people in WvW every other month if only for the fact that everyone who wants the monthly achievement needs to kill 50 players in WvW.

You won’t believe but there is solution to that too! 2 monthly achievements where you can pick which one you want to do – but you can’t make 2. Only one or another, with exactly the same reward. Bam – no PvE useless players in WvW.
I have 1000x more respect to player who freshly joins WvW and is really intrested in how things works and start to learn instead of scm that joins and ask “where is zerg?”.
I really wish that they would do something about exploring WvW. They could for example make a White Ooze transformation tonic that only uses speed boosts as skills, couldn’t harm/be harmed and transformation could be taken off only outside contestable areas.
