I was just watching there trailer and it seems that they have taken a lot of ideas from gw2. However i also liked their plans for wvw and hope anet considers it.
Basically, the ideas is too have 3 mega factions(mega server A, ms B, ms C)
Each mega server should have a mix of eu and na servers which we currenlty have. The data centres will remain the same. So eu and na will continue to play on thier own servers and this should ensure ping and activity thru the day.
I think its a very nifr idea that eso has considered and could work well here as well.
If those factions are more like Team A, Team B Team C and these teams will be selected randomly for each player, i think it can work and it will not be against the first rule of GW2, the one not to divide players into factions
