Hey, so, I’m new here (as in, first post), so forgive me if I’m making a repost. In Guild Wars 1, using /age would tell information about the current character, the account as a whole, and information on how long the current character has been in the current map. I realize that GW1 had more gearing towards timing (see: Factions missions) whereas GW2 doesn’t—and where it does, it is helpful enough to always provide a timer. But when running dungeons during a break in studying, I thought it would be helpful to use /age to tell me how long I’ve been procrastinating (laughs). Would it be something that we could see in the games, or is there a reason for not having it?

I’m aware that /age is in GW2. What I was suggesting was that, in addition to displaying the current character’s play time and the account play time, it also output the time that you’ve been in your current zone/dungeon.

Sorry, I didn’t make that clear in my first post. I’m completely sleep deprived due to exams right now.

I want to make age have a custom line that it displays so I don’t cry when I see it…

What I sent to AN…

Ok, this is a joke, I don’t expect anyone will actually grant this request. But the thought did amuse me, and working in SQA I can imagine how much hate you get via this form, so I thought I would submit something that might may you chuckle.

I would like an option (in the options) that would control what the /age command displayed. Below is what I would like to see in place of a number that, at some point in time, will horrify me. You, may, of course, replace my wording with whatever you deem hilarious:

You don’t want to know. You -really- don’t want to know. Have you considered taking up a hobby? Or bathing? I hear there are attractive girls in the real world too…
