what if the final boss mentioned in the flame and frost story is meant to be like the ancient karka event with precursors dropping like flies? just an idea

I was at the karka event and didn’t get anything amazing, but I was told that people who complained about missing the event were mailed pre-cursors.

I got a named focus, and the 25+ stat item.

They’ve learned from that lagfest and won’t have an open world final boss.

I’m pretty sure Gandarel is correct; from the looks of it, the “final event” will be a solo instanced quest similar to last month’s content. As such, I doubt they’ll be giving guaranteed exotics, its more likely that they’ll give everyone a free fused weapon ticket.

I’m pretty sure this didn’t happen though, that would be absurd…I think they were mailed a chest with the karka box, shell and 2 random exotic from the tables (including chance for precursor of course).

I doubt that. I’m guessing more…free 15-slot bag, maybe some back skin, Karma consumable and/or some other junk that’s really only useful to new players.

I hope they do give us something based on our level.
4 months playing (or better waiting for the story to “develop”) for a 15 slot bag as a reward?
I’d be really disappointed..
