I guess at least adding it to activities would be great. As for going for new songs – I dont like the idea of making team for that, its better for them to focus on LS and other patches.
my reasoning is.. i could own an in game instrument, but not know how to play any songs on it.. the notes are real and musically inclined individuals who take the time can translate this to in game music.. this is something ArenaNet should be doing though..
so, the argument is.. Most players get bored with their non-routine content and it is less traveled.. On the contrary, this could be very enriched and profitable permanent content
Open a Music Shop in Tyria.. players could buy Song Recipes off the Trading Post and unlock it in game.. and learn it on something similar to the winter’s day music stage..
and ultimately.. it would be amazing, if we had players owning gem store instruments coordinating together to play songs in open world
