i just switched to stormbuff server and its nightmare here people are camping at the eternal battle field jumping puzzle, shooting arrows at the spawn point with arrow cart, and mob is waiting at the middle of the puzzle not one or two, group of seven to ten people, i feel a change must be made like putting time limit to how long you can stay there. i understand this area was designed to be competitive but enough is enough line must be drawn somewhere right now its just ugly, these people have no shame or self control. please looking into this problem

unfortunatly, there only seems to be 2 answers to this at present, having ran into this myself on Whiteside Ridge server.

1). Attempt to get another group together to push them back long enough to either make them give up altogether, or at least to allow time to do the puzzle.

2). Just give up, & try again another time when, hopefully, they won’t be online & deny them the easy kills/Badges that they are after.

Until ANet do something about this, e.g. making the area of the puzzle same as the citadel in that everyone’s invicible (just an example, there are other options), this will always be a problem for individuals/small parties who are trying to do the jumping puzzles.

Working as intended … this area is what pvp servers in other games are all about. The jumping puzzles in WvW are pretty easy once you know them, it’s the players which give it replay value. Walking inside makes me thrill with excitement, going into ganky areas is fun!

If you don’t like it, don’t play it. That’s my best advice. These jumping puzzles are designed with ganking in mind.

If I can’t play Guild Wars 2 at work, I won’t work in Guild Wars 2 either.

I would have thought the various player-controllable traps throughout the EB puzzle would have at least hinted at the fact that they intended for it to be fought over / have fighting during. If you’re unable to complete it, try another time if you can or pull in a zerg.

I’m quit rubbish at PvP still myself, and I’ve died a bit to the Ebay and Maguuma folks in our worlds’ shared puzzle, but *shrug*. Them’s the breaks in a PvP area, yeah?
