Guild Wars 2

Currently we see some posts but it’s all “game issues”. I don’t know about the rest of you but I am curious as to some of their hobbies. I know there were a few “news” posts about some of the artists but I haven’t seen anymore of those. (maybe I am looking in the wrong place)

Just thing it would be cool to see a more personal side to the team other than just the “business” side.

Not really, I am a professional developer (albeit, I don’t work on games, I work on a Facebook application) and I would love to get to know the dev team a bit better. Problem is there is a lot of angry posts out there and if the devs show their faces they may get spammed, threatened, who knows what else so it’s likely tough to “come out of hiding” if you will for fear of being chased down with pitch forks and torches.

Well, the thing is, time on the forum has to be off-clock. And honestly, considering that most of the talks aimed at the developers are complaints, would you want to put your time towards that?

They do have liaisons for the purpose of getting complaints to the devs, though.

Other than that, John Smith, the resident economist, likes hanging in the BLTC subforum. And he’s a funny fellow.

Yea I like John and yea I wish people would do a bit less complaining at times. most threads seem to be complaints about stuff XD
