/ commands Anet needs to add.
Yeah could only see that target emote ending poorly in WvW and Spvp
here is a lists of /commands anet needs to add
/slap
/spit
/hug
/lick
/ponderalso it would be great if when you were targetting someone, it would be like _ slaps ____ across the face…
or _ hugs _______
and stuff like dat.
Spitting and licking? What do you want to do with this? ._.
If we talk about the chat commands, I think we firstly need the ones which were in GW1, such as /jump, /guitar etc.
/violin
/guitar
/drums
/flute
/piano
I would pay good gems for this if need be.
How to Condi Reaper on a budget
Everything I say is only in reference to PvE and WvW.

well, part of your request is granted at least. I’m guessing they put this in for a roleplaying aspect, but if you type /e and then whatever action you want to do while targeting someone it will display whatever you typed into the emote portion of chat. Sadly, no visible emotes are made, but it has potential.
~Surrender fiend and you will get an easy death
~I could promise you the same…but it would be a lie…

/lickto make people go ‘wtf’ and /spit to disrepect my opponents
I kinda want a /facepalm command…
Astrid Strongheart, Norn Ranger.
“I wish juvenile wolves were bigger”
I’m up for /facepalm! I do sometimes type it with a space in chat when it’s just… well… you know… XD
And I’m up for emotes such as /violin and /guitar.
Just simple
/hello & /hi
/greet
/thank & /ty
/lol & /rofl
/shy
/joke
/facepalm
/sorry /sry /apologise
/nod
/roar
/flex
/poke
/kiss
Oh and /afk [message] which auto clears on player action.

Pretty sure /ponder is already in the game…. but anyway they need to add /stuck.
/excited, /clap or /applaud
I tried doing that yesterday, and was surprised that it wasn’t an emote.
there already is a /ponder emote
It will add your target’s name to your /command if you include an @
Like:
Target someone
Type /wave @
MyCharacter waves at MyTarget.
And as mentioned above with /e
/emote can’t decide if he wants pizza or spaghetti
Puts out: MyCharacter can’t decide if he wants pizza or spaghetti.
Notice I didn’t include a period in my /e statement, I believe the period at the end is added automatically, so if you wanted it to be a question and add a question mark to the end, then it might end up ending in both period and a question mark.

[…]so if you wanted it to be a question and add a question mark to the end, then it might end up ending in both period and a question mark.
Well, even if the character is wondering the chat will state what (s)he does. A statement never ends with a question mark.
On Topic, yes to more emotes! Some of the ones I most miss are:
/kiss
/hug
/boast
/lick

You are correct. There really isn’t any form of emote that would be in the form of a question. I was simply stating the format of what elements are added to a /emote command. I was mainly pointing out that you should not include a period (or other punctuation) at the end of your emote statement as the period is added for you, and adding punctuation at the end would result in double punctuation.
You also might be surprised to know that there are many people who chat through /emote simply because it circumvents the block feature as all emotes are displayed to those around you even if you have blocked the person emoting. You are also unable to right-click their name and report them (for whatever reason) as their name in a /emote cannot be interacted with, you would have to manually add them to your contacts list and then report them. In the past I have reported this issue several times while in-game and it was never addressed. I’ve since chosen to have emotes disabled in my chat due to this issue and cannot say whether they’ve finally corrected it or not. :\
