Why do we have to spend twice as much karma to reskin our weapons just because we dual wield?
63000 karma for 1 dagger, yet its the same price for 1 greatsword,

Seems to punish duel wielders for no reason,

I suggest lowering the price of 1handers to 50%-75% of their current price,

I wouldnt mind paying 47250 karma for each dagger, but having to pay the same amount as a 2her is rough

You want a vanity skin on two weapons, you pay the vanity price for both weapons. If we give vanity skins for one handers at half/three-quarter price, where do you stop? Why does an elementalist get to reskin every piece of their gear for cheaper than a ranger? Why don’t one handed legendary weapons take half, or three quarters of the work that two-handed legendary weapons take? Why do people who don’t show their headgear not have to buy matching headgear? Sounds crazy to me.

i know on my ranger my swap set is sword/warhorn for when i am in parties. i actually agree with the OP. dagger/dagger or pistol/pistol shouldn’t cost 2x the amount of karma over a 2 hander. heck, anet could just make the 2 handers cost more karma. it would be fine that way for me. i just think there should be a difference in price.

There should be, and there was originally I believe. But after the exploitation they made all the prices high and all the same.

No, and no. Vanity is vanity. If you want to buy two vanity weapons, you pay for two vanity weapons, simple as that.

Agreed, single handed weapons should have their Karma lowered.

Vanity may be Vanity, but players should have fun customizing their characters, not suffer for it.

The point is that one duel wield weapon should not cost the same as one two handed weapon. Players who duel wield currently pay double the cost of players that use two handed items, so I don’t see your point of two handed users being punished if in the end everyone pays the same amount; if these cost changes were implemented.

One dagger/dagger elementalist will wield exactly that, two daggers. If they get those two daggers transmuted to a unique skin for 63000 karma, while one Greatsword/Longbow ranger who will wield exactly that, a greatsword and a longbow, has to pay 126,000 karma to get his weapons transmuted into the same unique skin?

That’s not everyone paying the same amount. Right now, everyone pays the same amount.

Should you also get two legendary one handed weapons for the same recipe that gives you one legendary two handed weapon? Should the mystic forge spit out two Mystic Pistols for the same recipe that spits out one Mystic Rifle?
