Since day and night is only a visual feature I think it would be more appropiate to let every player choose their own configuration for this cycle….and even allow for permanent day or night if one would like to

Actually I believe there are special events that happen at different times.

On this topic, the night time is way too bright. It looks almost exactly like day, but blue.

I would like to see a great deal more weather effects; rain, snow, wind, dust and storms for each of these.

E.g. almost all cemeteries I came across are different during the day and night. I’ve also seen a few NPCs that do different things or hang around different places depending on the time of day (in game).

I’d love to be able to tell what time it is in the game. Something like a small half-moon-shaped display that rotates a sun and a moon with stars and dusk and dawn between those two. No need for numbers (aka 24h day), just a general indicator of time.
