fix it so that it rolls in the direction relevant to the camera. why hasnt this been fixed? regardless of my previous or current actions when i double tap forward i want to roll in the direction the camera is facing. now my character. this is a huge control flaw and should have been addressed ages ago. in critical battles when i need to escape i find my character going forward then backwards even though im facing to the side of my character and using the same direction to “escape” . you can almost take it out of the game with its current mechanics and no one would be worse off. fix this this it isnt working right unless you intended it to be a gamble and almost uncontrollable in combat. was that your intent?

You dodge in the direction you are moving with the default being backwards from the way you are facing if you are stationary. IMHO this is perfect and does not need fixing at all.

Realize you can also double-tap the movement keys to dodge in that direction. I’ve never used the dodge hotkey tbh. If your keybind scheme is the standard WASD, the dodge hotkey is essentially the same as double-tapping “S”.

And as RoShamBo said, I would rather keep the hotkey’s default function as-is, since I’d bet some people use a combination of the double-tapping and the hotkey.

Remove double tapping and put roll on a seperate key,its easier to use and easier to control wich way it is that you’re going to roll.

I’d be happy if they just fixed it so it worked 100% of the time. Right now it fails to do anything 50% of the time. And most of the time even when you do roll the enemies attack just follows you and hits you mid roll anyway.

Charge and teleport type skills are broken the same way. the animations go off but you are left standing right where you started half the time.
