I can’t believe I even have to make this post. I’m also assuming that there are similar topics but I could not find any so please move if needed.

Can we please have something to do with our extra rings and fractal weapons?

I have two fractal great swords and I would love to be able to pretty much do anything with the one I don’t need. Give it to a friend. Sell it on the tp and get one I want. Ummm pretty much anything other then having it sit in my bank.

Not to mention the 50+ extra rings I have nothing to with. I have guild mates that are struggling to get one ring I would gladly give them one of mine but no I can’t do anything with them at all. I’m not saying let me sell them, but maybe salvaging them for guaranteed 5-7 ecto would be nice or perhaps a mystic forge recipe that will yield a reasonable number of laurels?

Also the mechanics for acquiring weapons is not quite where it should be. How about letting use use pristine relics to get weapons? Now that any old joe can pug any level of fractal its harder than ever to complete lvl 20+ dailys and if you are lucky enough to get a weapon odds are it will not be one you can even use. I don’t see any reason why we should not be able to use pristine relics to get weapons as that is the mechanic for all other dungeons. Even if its a large number… who cares at least its something to work towards.

Is there another thread about this? This really needs to be addressed.

There was plenty of threads like this and i myself have weapons and over 30 rings i have no use for but devs never answered and they don’t care. Its sad we have such discussion when EVERYTHING you get in dungeons should be sellable which will help you with money and wvw only players (and there’s a bunch of them) would be extremely happy to buy ascended stuff from you. Anet don’t understand or don’t want to.

I guess they want people to obtain it “the right way”. Laurels, fractals, whatever.

Just not people giving them for free to their mate. Take agony right in the face is a good way to learn how said-agony works.

Though I do agree we should be able to do something with them, like recycle them to craft new ascended.

i totally agree with you.
i also have a lot of rings and fractal weapons i can’t use and after doing more than 60 daily runs (from lvl 20+ up to 40+) i haven’t got the only fractal weapon i want, the staff.
They could make a way to change some fractal weapons you don’t want to some you do.
About the rings, at least we should be able to recycle them to get ectos or put them on the forge to get maybe and amulet or a fractal wepon skin, cause i’m tired of store them to do anything but take up my bank spots

I definitely agree. That and also the fact that pristine fractal relics become useless after you get the rings you want. there should also be more of a use for these as well.
