first-person-view?
Any chance of getting a first person view? It doesn’t have to render the body, just being able to move the camera into the character would be great.
When in confined spaces like doing some of the jumping puzzles having the camera continuously bouncing off the walls and clipping into the character is really disorienting, this is especially true if playing a large race like a Norn or Charr.
I find some of the areas like the caves for the Troll’s End puzzle in Lion’s Arch are really bad, I play a large Norn and it’s very easy to get turned around in there, not because of any lack of direction sense but because the camera will suddenly hit a wall and change my viewpoint. This can be especially bad when it happens just as you jump to another pillar, often resulting in falling, not the mention the nausea and headaches from all the camera jitter.
Please just let us zoom into a first person view.

While this has been suggested before, I would love FPV too.
And I know there are a bunch of others who would like it too, and the rest… Well, if they don’t want to to go into FPV, it shouldn’t matter to them.
People who can’t tend to call the opponent troll, scream something utterly incomprehensible
and finally result to personal insults.
Agreed, I outlined some of the reasons why it’s a problem not having it, not just a choice of playstyle in my post here.
If people that don’t want it then as you said they can choose to not zoom in that far, or make min zoom distance an option.
I too would love first person view, aside from the reason mentioned about looking around especially in confined spaces during jumping puzzles, etc. But some of the world/places are so beautiful that I want a screenshot without my character in it all the time.
