Guild Wars 2

First and foremost i’d like to say thanks for all the hard work an effort from prophecies to GW2, it’s been awesome and have loved every moment of it. Qith that said I must admit i was a little depresssed and I’m sure a lot of other people were about fighting Zhaitan. The minions put up a better fight than Zhaitan; even while you kill the 2 dragons on the canons they still attack, Zhaitan does nothing but sit there. Through the history of gaming the boss fight was expected to be the craziest and most epics of fight. I know ya’ll are capable of greatness and I hope in the future the other dragons put up a better fight than Zhaitan. I mean look at Mallyx, the Lich, even Shiro, Abaddon, and even Dhuum, all of them were hard hitters that players could beat on.

After fighting the boss it occured to me you go through a bunch of objectives to weaken him and then you get to the final boss fight to spam a single button. It felt rushed even though it took several years for the game to be released. But please, please, please, please for the sake of the legacy of your boss fights take the other bosses you’ve created into consideration, Zhaitan was a weakling compared to the oozes, even the champion giant dudes that toss grubs at you were a challenge.

I know this probably won’t get a response from any of the GM’s which is okay, but Anet is 1 company I feel that has taken gaming to a whole new level and I’d like to see y’all succeed and if I didn’t voice my opinion then I would be doing y’all wrong. So once again please take the previous bosses ya’ll have created into consideration, like the amount of damage, the things you’ve had to go through to kill them, so on and so forth. Thanks for everything you’ve done for us.

The Zhaitan fight is bugged and Devs are fixing it.

He’s not supposed to just sit there.

ooohh hahaha…aight then…nvm…will have to check that out once they done fixing him…i’ll retract what i said bout Zhaitan being a weakling and anet slackin on their boss fights then…gonna suck having to go through all that again though just to fight him

Yea just fought the boss again after their update. It’s still weak as hell, how come Lt. Kholer 1 shots you but Zhaitan who’s an elder dragon doesn’t even put a dent on your health bar WITH ads and acid he spits out. Doesn’t make any sense at all. The claw of Jormag puts up a better fight than Zhaitan.
