I remember some mmos that I have played in which from time to time a gamemaster would incarnate a villain and fight against the players. I remember the mmo “Neocron” (cyberpunk setting) for example in which there was a recurring powerful bad guy who was appearing sometimes in the main city to attack players, there was also a developing story linked to that (someone he loved died and he decided it was the fault of the city and all its inhabitants).
I would love to see that in gw2. In fact if you told me you would pay me to incarnate ascalon catacombs kholer all day long and fight players I would enjoy that. But more realistically, I imagine that somewhere in the game world a boss incarnated by a gamemaster would appear and players would receive a notification, just like scarlet invasions. Concretely, that gamemaster would have access to a set of skills to defeat the players. There is also great potential for story development. What do you think ?
