Gathering tools:
My suggestion is to color code the gathering tools in the icons. So I can tell if it’s copper, iron or ect. Without having to mouse over the gathering tool.

Or, change gathering tools so it’s based on your level. And the lost durability will change based on how much your downgraded.

Soulbound:
We should be able to salvage soulbound items (weapons, armor, rings).

Many soulbound items are bought with karma (ie heart vendors), and the intention is to not allow karma to be a coin source. The devs tend to remove any sort of way to make actual coin out of karma fairly quickly. Soulbound items that are soulbound because you equipped them, or earned them in your story are salvageable.

I wouldn’t mind seeing a way to extract a rune or sigil you may have used in a heart/karma item.

What does need fixed are jewellery drops. Mob dropped jewellery is bound on acquire, and cannot be salvaged. It can still be NPC’ed.
