healing and end game pve
Uhm… Elementalist.
There, that guy can provide more than enough AoE heal for allies. Just make use of that heal, but don’t expect to survive if you rub your face on a dragons heels.
People who can’t tend to call the opponent troll, scream something utterly incomprehensible
and finally result to personal insults.
you cant really expect for this game to progress in a pve standpoint without having more healing classes and healing abilities.
Why can’t it? Just saying it doesn’t make it true.
from what i have seen you can pretty much expect to die on bossfights run back to the waypoint and keep fighting.i would like to see more skill involved in PVE if not i think that ppl will get bored and possibly quit the game.thats just how i feel about the situation.
Adding a healer wouldn’t help this. It would just mean that the people who are dying and running back would survive a bit longer. Adding a healer doesn’t suddenly make them players better players.
And in dungeons, you can’t waypoint res anyway.

maybe people should learn not only to deal extreme damage…
edit: all class can heal if they wish so, even my phantasm as a mesmer can grant regeneration

So let me get this straight… As the “healer” watching health bars bob up and down and pressing buttons to stop it going all the way down is more skillful than watching the actual fight and reactivly keeping people alive with buffs or small heals? And for “dps-ers” to just sit there expecting their better numbers to beat the enemie’s numbers (and if not, to have their health bar not go down by some magic fairy person across the room) instead of reacting to the environment visually and using situational skills (in GW2, all skills) to maximize effects.
GW2 combat requires all respective parties to be skillful to achieve maximum potential. Also, combat is proactive NOT reactive.

So lets see. You keep on dying at bosses and you claim that this game needs more skill involved in PvE? Do you mean that your groups needs more skilled players? Cause to me asking for a healing class makes it sound like you actually want the boss fights to be easier, instead of the being the challenge they are.
