… ask me if i am really sure when I try to purchase an item. And if I am trying to buy a non-salvageable item that soulbound and that my profession can’t use, it should just call me stupid….

Joke aside, for high end vendors (42k karma vendors more specifically), double clicking to auto purchase is dangerous. Mistakes have been made and will be made. A confirmation window when you do buy 42k karma items will save someone a few days of karma grinding ;)

or maybe, “double clicking to auto purchase” should be an option disabled by default

or maybe have the option to hide all the items I can’t use — kinda like tradeskill filtering option thingy

I’ll agree to this. We need more “whoops!” checks in place when it comes to vendors anyway.

I have also made the same mistake, and I would think that some sort of check box to confirm would be good, as lag can also cause accidental buys.

Either that, or make the 42k karma items accound bound so other characters can use it, or able to be sold back or traded for another piece. Getting at least some of the karma back which would otherwise be wasted would be nice… it’s not easy to get 42k karma, and awfully demoralizing when you buy something you can’t use.

I agree, but I would rather them change it so that the items that we can’t even use are not shown (or are shown, but not selectable).

My mouse is going bad, which means single clicks get randomly turned into doubles. I picked up a $10 backup mouse a few days ago and will invoke warranty soon, but darn you anet! I didn’t want to buy that shank greatsword shank sword shank dagger of force!
