kill off all bots in 1 simple patch
Might be cause I had not much sleep last night, but I don’t get how this should have any effect on bots at all.

ok, IF the bot is a program that pretends to be a client, having encrypted authentication would stop that type of bot.
However, if the bot is a type that hyjacks the network data then all they need to do is also encrypt the network packets.
Bots are actually third party programms that use the client to play the game so an encrypted authentication wouldn’t help if it’s done automatically by the client or if it has to be done only once by the player.

I’m not sure if you’re mistaking “encrypted” with “image verification” as “image verification” is what usually is used to stop bots.
If you really mean “encrypted” then I too fail to see how that would help O.o
People who can’t tend to call the opponent troll, scream something utterly incomprehensible
and finally result to personal insults.
Wont really help , most bots are just virtual input, some are detecatble , most not
Just like i am using a abbreviation virtual input.. if i type “brb” , be right back " would automatically apear…. virtual input…
this program is pretty much undetecable , but it could be used to make bots , i have not tried any coding with the software except for abbreviations but it cant be hard at all , the main codes are as simple as
S::startprogram
delay
keystroke
delay
etc
They just need one or 2 people to act on bot reports , problem solved…
They really just need an in game rep from Arena net to come in, watch, and ban people once they get a certain amount of reports on said player, location that is reported all the time. If they are guilty, they get the banhammer. Not really hard, but they have a limited amount of people in their company I am sure that are doing other stuff, like coding.
