when we are in the story instead of going through the whole story area looking for the loot can you make it like in gw and give the loot to you when you leave

I am confused. What loot? The rewards for completion of the arc? You get those in a big central thing in the middle of your screen. Anything else is just scrap loot that drops off mobs and you grab as you kill them.

If you mean dungeon story rather than personal story, there are interim chests pretty much right there where you kill a boss, and automatic rewards for the final part of the chain.
