lvl 80 in a 1-15 land?
You can one shot open world stuff when you are a level 80 downleveled to starter zone level when fully geared.
Not champs or vets but they can also be taken down real fast as a level 80 in a starter zone when fully geared.
You can solo champs also. Some are much more difficult to beat but they are doable. Higher levels will probably yield different turn out, best I’ve done so far is the 2 champs in the Foulbear pre.
Your character has progressed. If you hop onto a level 5 and kill a level 5 mob, then kill the level 5 mob with a level 80, you can easily tell the difference.
So unless you’re telling me that at level 1 you were using a blade made of a wet noodle and your armor was actually inverted spikes, then please… tell me you haven’t progressed.
Do you really need to one-shot mobs? Do you think it’ll make the game any better?
If the answer to that question is yes, please gear yourself in Exotics then come back here. If you’re already wearing Exotics, please use a skill other than your heal skill to dispose of an enemy (because when you’re downleveled, you can one-shot enemies).
i know soloing champs are possible and vets are easy but i still have never received and one shots my pet has almost done that but not my ranger

You shouldn’t expect to do mass damage with a single hit if you aren’t specced to do… mass damage with a single hit.
As a Ranger, you have easy access to high nuke (in one hit) setups. Utilize your traits and abilities. I’d give you a build, but I haven’t slept and I really don’t care about getting your Ranger to max dps in a level 5 area.
Just a tip: Greatsword 2 is a really strong attack.

We automatically level down to more readily play nicely with others in the low level zones.
Exp: irl im walking down the street and i get jumped by some punk thugs who rob me of my moneys shoes and even my verry shirt. After that i start going to a kungfukittenscholl to tone up my defense after a while of training im back at my home town, and look who trys to rob me again. I show off my newly found kungkittenand teach thise punks a lesson. But even with all my training i still couldnt defeat them in one hit."
See lv scaling makes sense

I’m hearing that is what you want, but you cant have it. Make your own game.
It’s a mechanic of the game, I love downscaling, it makes exploring of Low Level Areas with High level Characters still interesting.
I think level 80s are still too strong in low level areas. If you look at the world bosses, that die within seconds (sometimes even before they get visible). Down scaled you have more stats, due to traits, Armor (3 instead of one stat), runes etc. The difference is so huge, even a blind will see that…
Btw. My level 26 power Necro was able to one shot lvl 4 enemies and your ranger isn’t? sounds strange to me.
