hi there, i have this awesome Fused Greatsword skin on my warrior, it would be such a shame to leave this weapon in the bank or to salvage it whenever i get my Twilight. so i want some expensive gemstore item to make this a usable skin again. so i can equip it on my ranger, guardian, mesmer or whatever.

this item just needs to preserve the skin and make it usable on any other character. maybe even by using a transmutation stone/crystal.
if this suggestion isnt good enough than maybe we can transfer it to spvp somehow.

or make me sell it at the special weapon npc in the trading post who will give me a ticket back for it? :p

edit: this should not be able for skins you can buy from any npc thats in the game permanent
this feature should only be used to re use your own skins again, not to sell them on the TP.

You mean… buy a white Greatsword, use a Transmutation Crystal and plop the skin onto the white greatsword giving it terrible stats but making it Account Bound?

Aka a feature that’s already implemented?

1. Character A equips a legendary, then decides he actually wants to give it to Character B.
2. Character A acquires a transmutation crystal and a low level item. He places the crystal in his inventory and the item in the bank. The legendary can be wherever you like.
3. Transmute! The new item, with legendary skin and low level stats, will appear in the bank and be account bound.
4. Character B withdraws the transmuted legendary from the bank and equips it. It’s now soulbound to Character B.

…I totally copied and pasted that from one of my earlier posts, disregarding the fact that it’s not the legendary skin you wanna keep. Whatever.

i didnt even know thats possible… well thanks for the advice, ill keep that in mind.
