in my opinion, mesmer shood be deleted, and never put that class in any game, i know u are prowed becouse only gw2 have that, but there is problem, soon all will play mesmer, wich is personaly for me kitten class, becouse it is purple and becouse u dont iteract in fight as other players, spawn npcs and they will kill for you. so i sugest to remowe him just one thing, any i dont care, so he have some weak point, like all other classes, so confusion,bleed,blind,invis,invun on 1h sword (where even fear dont work), lower demage on white ilusions phantasm or how it is caled, downd skill no3 have crazy demage…. any of that, not all, just 1 thing. and mass invis shood be removed perma, becouse of rendering in wvw, so if u have mass inv u have 2-3 sec adventage, i heard u fixed rendering, but i dont see diference. and today i was in 10 turnamens and idk how much random arenas, turnaments have 2x+ mesmers, random arenas have 7-10/16 so it is idiotic to see 24 ppl insted of 6. Please just think about it

i play mesmer atm, in pvp, becouse i am forced, if anyone vant u can duel me, if u want ill fight 3 vs 1 and i will survive, but dont put mesmer in that 3 ppl, i made 5 ppl team mesmers and guess what cant lose, it is funny

There was an exploit in the way that shatter skills were used, so alot of people who enjoy looking up OP builds online quickly caught on (such as yourself I’m guessing too?..) I play Mesmer and I assure that you can be killed in a 3 vs 1 And it has been fixed, so therefore alot of them have stopped playing mesmer in pvp and moved on (at least on dragonbrand). Nobody is forcing you to play a ‘kitten’ Mesmer. I love them and played them for 5+ years on gw1 so……..

The mesmer is a class that has been used in gw1, and it worked beautifully. Yes there were problems here and there, but it was a good class, and still is. There’s no need for deletion. The mesmers aren’t so terribly OP that you can’t kill them.

I highly doubt this class will be deleted on anyone’s suggestion. There’s hiccups, but the class is nice regardless.

the best mesmer player against 3 good thieves is a dead mesmer. and im guessing your 13-14 by your horrible spelling. even foreigners arent that bad at spelling english words. even if they cant read english!. im sorry you lose to mesmers but youre going to have to get over that. i think theyre a fruity class two and my mesmer is my only female character because of this.

first it was my opinion, i realy dont like that class, second nerf anything, so i can try to kill it somehow, third my eng is not important, and i am 27, please i hope u understand diference between my opinion and what shood be done, btw 3x thiefs of 5 players, do u even hear yourself, you are lol, have u ever played spvp or wvw. so if that class must exist, i want some week spot on them, wich atm they dont have, and they are not so terribly op, but they are op, that is fact, better warrior than real warrior, better thief than real thief, better condition than any class!

Yes, you’re right, the skill of your English is not important, so let’s keep that out from this topic. I’d like to add that people ought to just be respectful of someone’s suggestion and not diss them straight up.

Honestly depends on how you play your preferred class.

The whole idea behind the mesmer is that this is an illusion based class. Yes, you can have trouble with the clones being there, but that is the point. I’m pretty sure that the devs are looking at the classes often. If they feel that mesmers are op then they will nerf them.

But of course, my original point was that they will not, and should not take this unique class out of the game. But by all means, giving them some weakness would be a good idea. Perhaps the clones should just be weaker than they currently are. Or while the clone can give damage, maybe a one-hit could kill a clone.

Personally, I haven’t had too many problems with the mesmers. Each class requires a bit of skill to play so I think you might have just gotten unlucky and played against some really skilled mesmers.
