Guild Wars 2

i would like to see more weapons and armor skins ported from GW1 over to GW2 for example, the aureate dagger skin from gw1 looks so much better than the same weapon in gw2. and how bout bringing the serpentine axe and morob’s axe skins back? maybe even the tormented weapons just to name a few. i would also like to see the Dragon gauntlets and the asuran assassin armor make a comback among other armors. And if you guys brought them back i would gladly buy them from the gem store.

I personally liked the Druid Armor for rangers. My old ranger back in GW1 wore the Elite Set as his main set. XD

Heck, any of the old Cultural armors for Norn and Asura would be perfect too. I was so disappointed when cultural armor was locked to that race. XD

Gimme my Kurzick and Luxon assassin armor. I’d pay 20 dolla.

I still miss my monk armors, look much cooler than trenchcoat variety here

This probably sounds totally “uncreative” but the female MESMER obsidian armor was my favorite armor in all of gw. Sadly, I chose to give my assassin obsidian armor :/.

Also wouldn’t mind light armor with less man skirts (I can only think of ~3 pants that don’t give a man skirt)

Some assassin skins to break the trench coat closet. Also most Ranger armor didn’t include trench coats (if you go to guild wiki you’ll see a lot of Ranger armor with no trenchies)

Heavy armor looks fine (especially the HoM one) but I could go for a little less bulky for guys and opposite for females

I miss the old fellblade..you know, that huge hulking piece of metal 1 hand sword version, the one where when you zoomed in on it you can see the dark aura creeping across the blade.

I guess we want see it since that great sword version became a HoM reward.

Any of the monk pants set would be awesome. I also really liked Kurzick Warrior armor. Necro had some really cool pant options as well.

This game uses WAY too many dresses, butt skirts, and trenchcoats.

@Lambent the felblade 2h is a HoM reward // but nothing for chaos axes, other shadow army weapons though.

Im sure they will eventually but the Oni weapons from factions were some of the best made items in any game.

And yes you guys did do the nightfall armour for the wars in the cash shop. Having one for every other profession specific would be amazing. I would JUMP on the chance for some alternate GW1 mesmer armour thats’ for sure.

Would pay gems for the Ranger Druid’s 15k armor on my engi. No good leather armors available currently.

Wow GW1 had some nice armors. Models are outdated, yes, but ideas are nice and I would very much like to see them ingame. Especially some of those “hero” armors (sorry didn`t play GW1 don`t know whats they about).

Elite luxon with silver eagle helm and torment maul. Would love that on my guard.

I couldn’t agree with you guys more, a lot of the guild wars 1 skins looks so much better compared to the ones we get in GW2. there are just so many to pick and choose from. i have to say, and im sorry for this arenanet, but it just seems the choices for skins are just so limited in gw2 that i have to say you guys kinda slacked off in that department. I do admit that the leather hoodie, riding pants boots and gloves, with the aviator’s sunglasses look pretty nice together, but u can only wear them outside of battle T_T i wish i could transmute those skins onto my battle suit to look awesome in combat cuz a lot of the armor choices don’t mesh well together

speaking of more art from GW1.. what about adding hairstyles and faces from GW1?

Anet: that would be worth pretty much whatever amount of gems you’d like to charge!

well then they need to make better looking skins for GW2 and not a bunch of recycled armors… wouldn’t it be nice if the Shiro’s Armor set in GW2 actually look like Shiro’s armor from GW1 instead of a generic thief type looking armor?

All i missed is my Templar armor, overall the best looking armor in GW1.

What do you guys think about something like Black Lion Nostalgia Box, which contains one of old skins (like Storm Bow, chaos axe, and other oldschool stuff)?
I think that will be cool, also this could be easily attached to gw ’s franchise birthday(28 of april) like a gift for everyone who remember+ good moneymaker

More armor and weapons are good, ported or no.

Just as long as its not all HoM-related. I’ve got no problem with the current exclusive gear, but any more stuff from GW1 should be available to all.

I’d love to see my Necro get his Elite Scar Patterns back(Scar patterns on top half and pants and boots) and my Ranger would love his Stormbow back also (Actually thought the longbow skin from HoM would be Stormbow).

Still Most Of GW1 Elite Armor Is Outshine GW2 Armor Even The Graphic Is Outdated LOL. Can I Hv Heavy Vabbian Armor?
