necro dps need a pve boost
Not only necros are kicked for being necros, and the problem can be solved without boosting dps since that would ruin pvp – aka the point of game balance
Another disadvantage is that they have subpar utility. Heavy armored classes can constantly buff the party and bring damage, for example. There’s no need to bring a class that has limited potential
The whole PvE system could use some changes to make necros, engineers, rangers more effective; make healing gear more interesting, and even defense more meaningful
Well some people want to play a class they enjoy which might not be a warrior
My main is a necro too but so far I’ve never had problems but that could be because of the people I play with. There is content which is a pain for a necro (Ice elemental in snow fractal with a con build wuut) but there is content where the necro brings many options to the party. Convert boons on foes into conditions? Check. Convert conditions on allies into boons? Check. Need Fear or pull the enemy away? Check. Vulnerability/Cripple/whatever condition you need on all the mobs instead of just one? Check. And so on and so on.
Find some people who don’t mind you being a necro. Find a good build which works for you as well as for the party and just have fun playing the game. I admit that necro is not the best choice when you want to do speed runs but when you want to enjoy the game it’s as good as any other class.
The solution to getting kicked is to run your own party. I play a Necro and if I really need to do a dungeon run (very rarely these days), I create my own party to do it rather than put up with moronic zerker-obsessed elitists. Admittedly, my Necro is kitted out in zerker gear but that’s because I tend to go off exploring a lot on my own, and I certainly don’t expect fellow party members to kit themselves out in the same gear as myself.
Also, for balancing issues, it’s about time there was a clear separation between PvE and PvP builds. The reason why I stopped playing an Elementalist was because a level 60 ele could still get owned by a couple of level 8 bandits and long cooldowns prevented rapid switching between attunements. Ridiculous. An elementalist may be good for PvP, but currently they are hopeless for PvE unless you have twenty fingers for all those hotkeys.
I agree PvE balance needs a review but would rather see Necromancer improved in CC and condition effectiveness than increasing dps. Versus Unshakable bosses, I feel Necromancer is below par simply because the core job mechanics revolve around conditions.

PvP and PvE are supposed to be completely separate if they didn’t balance PvE on PvP skills we wouldn’t have some of the issues we have in game.
