Guild Wars 2

This is a new Gem Store item. For XXX amount of gems, you get one Codex. This is a one time use item that only works for 1 character. Once you double click it and confirm that you want to use it, its gone. From that point on, that character can now reset their traits at any time while out of combat at no cost.

If that seems too powerful, maybe re-traiting while in an instance, like a dungeon or personal story episode, will be disabled. Maybe in WvW, you can only retrait while at your servers starting area for that map. Stuff like that.

This would synergize well with my idea on Legendary weapons and armor, where you can have multiple sigils and runes added to items and being able to pick which you want to use, just like you can pick the stat combo you want to use.
