Ok so laurel vendor was supposed to be way to get ascended gear without doing fractals.

Anet puts rings and amulets on vendor but no backpacks forcing us to still go into fractals.

I dont understand this company seems to shoot themself in the foot at every turn.

I was talking about ascended back items, the ones you can actually see. Those spineguards are a joke, they are all invisible..

So you want it for the visual? Grab a spineguard, transmute the backpack you want..

i thought that they were also adding ascended backpacks to laurel vendors,

i was hoping to get it even if its 40 laurels each

Ascended backpacks from sources other than Fractals are coming in a later update apparently.

Ascended rings can be bought with Fractal —-—>DAILY<———- rewards which are pristine relics! Backpieces have to be crafted from expensive materials or purchased with Fractal relics, you need 2850 of them for a final version of fractal capacitor which is a lot of work.

Yes that’s right. Can you please qoute the part where I said you should be able to buy the same backpack ascended gear with laurels? I’m not talking about the best ones (like the capacitor), I’m talking about new ones. I don’t care if they are less impressive than the others but then at least we have the ability to buy SOME visual backpack items. Of course they will have to be a lot more expensive, 50-80 laurels maybe?

At the moment the only visual backpack items are Guild bags, event items (mad king, toymaker etc) and engineer bags.
