I think this could be broken into two pvp matches..
One that had a certain amount of rounds of one team defending and one team attacking and switching off between rounds.. where victory was decided either by the attackers killing off the guild lord or the defenders lasting through whatever timer was running.
The other would be having 2 castles and the first guild that has their guild lord killed loses.. that might be interesting.. forcing each group to have both an offensive and defensive group.. or they could try all one or the other.. the timer on this one would be longer and if the allotted time ran out the victor would be declared as whoever had the most enemy kills… this adds some interesting game play as you could amass a sizable amount of enemy kills only to lose the game at the last second as the enemy rushed you and took out your guild lord.

This would be similar to another game I played before this (RoM, Siege War). I really liked playing it. Would be great if they could do this. There needs to be more Guild vs. Guild content.

I agree, there should be Guild vs Guild Content added.
I would love to see a siege battle done correctly by Arenanet as well!
anyone hear of anything regarding Guild Vs Guild battles in the upcoming updated for PvP?

Well you could include forts / castles / towers and what not in the game world and have guild fighting over them. Each one providing some boon even if only a title, say for example a guild wins a few forts around the Black Citadel and then members of the guild get some title or another: “Keepers of the Citadel” (or hopefully something better than that) and perhaps access to special armour skins, for as long as they can keep onto it.
pfft wars between guilds? what do you think this game is some sort of group based conflict game? Its guild wars!…
I do hope they bring in GvG content but I do hope they also balance it so that its not another large guild exclusive.
Though with being able to be in lots of guilds at the same time Im not sure exactly how they’d manage rewards etc.
