i want open world pvp and guild vs guild this game needs more pvp focus and less instance pvp

I don’t think you’ll be seeing open world PvP anytime soon, that’s what WvW is for.

GvG is coming (apparently?), let’s just hope that it uses the WvW system (PvP in PvE gear without restrictions) rather than the SPvP system, so that we can actually use racial abilities and hard earned skins.

I personally dont feel like having to ‘gank’ my own server…. What form of benefit other than making the person kitten mad at you do you get from doing this?

WvW is enuff for open world,huge huge maps

No Open World PvP, thank you very much – we have WvW for that. I do see GvG in our future though Happy for those who care, but I’m just not a PvP person.
GW has always been about instanced PvP, btw – that’s one of the core principles of GW PvP: Putting everyone on equal footing, to let skill sort out the rest.

I think rather than add open world PvP they should implement a dueling system. They’ve done a great job of creating a helpful and friendly base of players by keeping it server vs server. Why ruin that by opening up the world to ganking? I think a simple dueling system would be enough to satisfy players, such as myself who have come from mmo’s with open world PvP and occasionally want to murder their friends lol.

well its alright to each is own but they honestly should be putting all sorts of modes out there since gw2 is trying to aim for mass amount of people to play Wow even has open world pvp not a very good example i know but everyone knows wow and everyones played it and you cant argue with the money theyve made because of how versital it was when it first was growing i just hope gw2 isnt just gonna grow into a boring pve game cuz the pvp is so boring that no one wants to play
