Like the title says, can we get an option to disable the windows key? Since we have to use left Ctrl and Alt frequently, this makes hitting the windows key mistakenly a regular occurrence.

This is in addition to an option to disable RMB targeting, and an option to disable Ctrl+clicking to call skills.

I don’t mind dying because I made a mistake or got outplayed, but dying because of crappy controls with no option to change them makes me unhappy!

I used to have this happen in another game (Not so much atm in GW2 as I don’t take my little finger off shift so don’t go near that nasty windows key it’s deadly)

I’m not sure games have a way to really disable it (maybe as it’s part of windows really?) but there’s some keymap app that allows you to do it outside game so it’s remapped for everything I think.. just can’t remember the mapping app but maybe someone else can offer it up or a google search might help?

Some keyboard software comes with an option to disable the windows key, either automatically with certain programs running, via a key command, or manually (i.e. toggle off or on for all programs). (I have this on some of my Logitech keyboards.)

However, I think it would be useful to have more options to customize commands, including the one suggested by the OP.

I’ve simply pried off the top of most of the ‘windows keys’ on most of my keyboards. (it works better in some cases than others)
