it’s a great and useful feature and i don’t see why guild wars 2 doesn’t have that yet.

GW1 had it. Not sure why GW2 doesn’t.

Many other MMOs, for example DDO, have it as well. In DDO, it automatically apears when you are lagging and disappears when you are not.

This has to happen. Maybe in addition to and above or below the optional clock in the mini-map.
