I’m not going to pretend like the situations in which equipping a torch is the difference between success and failure, as there are hardly any. But it would be nice to slap a torch in my off-hand for those instances when they are useful. I know a lot of work would be required to create two new skills (and balance them) for each of the classes that cannot currently use the torch weapon, so perhaps a consumable torch/lantern/whatever would be a more feasible approach.

That’s a lot of merchants. Any tips to narrow the search?

i’m sorry no one has bothered to add it, try looking at merchants near caves i think there is one over by bloodtide coast. but i cant be too sure.. you just have to keep your eyes open. i know i’ve seen them some even sell wooden planks and rocks.

I usually try to improvise in order to create my own light sources. For example, in the dark room in the EB jp, I often don’t bring a torch- I use Cluster Bomb on my Shortbow, instead, which brings a good bit of light for a few seconds. Allows me to be seen less by trolls, or people who’ve been trolling that I’ve spent the last 10 minutes hunting down.
