Have you ever did something that you were so happy to have done in the game that its time to clear off the UI and take a Snapshot.

What if they had a /pose emote so you could make that snapshot even better. Anywhere from the classic “Victory” or “Peace” or the latest “Heart” to my personal favorite the “Kitty Paws”. A group pose could be done with everyone typing " /pose * ".

Poses would be more like in the hand gestures not in facial to make it easy for anet to program so NO to the “Duck Face”!

Do you guys think the pose should be based on race/sex or would you rather you pick the pose you liked, instead of being limited to one type pose based on your toons race/sex?

I don’t remember what game it was that did something like this, but instead of that last part where it’s based on race/gender, the designers made like 10 of them and gave them to everyone. Instead of /pose, you’d have /pose1 to /pose10 or whatever.

Gives everyone access to the ones they want and makes everyone happy.

Want paws pose now.

As long as my Norn strikes a Saturday Night Fever pose, I’d be happy.

i would have a lot o pose and emotes to show my appreciation of the subject.
i’m all for more emotes

I like this idea too. Sometimes when making screen shots I fire off a weapon so I’ll get an action shot. Sometimes I wait for the toe-tapping idle fidgeting animation to kick in so I’ll get a shot of the character looking around. It really depends on the scene and mood I’m trying to capture. Having some fixed poses would be valuable.

Yeah this game is in dire need of some added emotes…I miss Charge most of all..

It’ll be better if you could input a number after the /emote command to indicate a frame/time of the animation at which you want to freeze that emote.

/dance * ms 1001 and you sync with anyone who also is doing *, and freeze when 1001 millisecond pass.

That way you can turn every frame of the animation of any emote into a pose.

I really don’t want to be bother figuring out what time I need to stop on to get the effect that I am looking for.
The emotes that I am talking about could be stand alone emotes that you will use not only for pics but for fun in the game. For instance, the “Peace sign” would also give off the text in chat saying something like “your toon name here: gives the peace sign.” What could you apply that to in game that would mean something , lets see how about in some pvp areas like the Obsidian Sanctum JP.

Even a static pose would be a welcome addition. More emotes would also be welcomed by many. Win win

Oh just at least give us back the emotes that are still missing from Gw1…l mean REALLY???
