I normally do not play a ranger at all but it seems a bit boring that the pets do not evolve at all.

also if you ever decide to implement an evolution system for pets (wink, wink)
please add a sort of fight against the pet for it or something along those lines.

pet ascension maybe

I found that just pressing F to charm a pet is how do I put it, it seems boring like that was it ? no fighting the creature to actually tame it ? no working for it at all just press F.

rampage as one should combine your pet with you and you will fusion-ha into omegurugamemnon-mon based on the pet. still in que for OP huntards. I agree gathering pets is not memorable at all but the class itself isn’t particularly memorable either.
on topic though what would digivolving do for our pets? put rockets on their shoulders? huntard pets are too powerful already, nerf bat plox

“huntard pets are too powerful already”

I can only hope for you that you’re not serious about that.

The way pet evolution worked in GW1 was that the pet specializes. Given it didn’t work very well there but within the GW2 system it can work.

I would imagine it like this:

For example. When you charm a red moa. It has two skills unlocked:
Peck and Harmonic cry.
The other two slots needs to be unlocked through using the pet. After unlocking it you still need petexperience points on your pet. They get that through killing foes (so just as you gain experience). Every x-y amount of experience you get an petskillpoint. Some petskillpoints cost little, but the really good ones cost a lot of time using the actual pet. Also. For each level you can only choose between two skills. choosing one will lock the other for good and you can not unlock it (unless you talk to the ranger trainer who can unlock it for a small fee.

This way you can personalize the pets abillity’s and make your pet really your instrument.
