PLEASE .. remove the bow string from every bow. it looks really ugly, thick and so out of place. also you guys just put it in random places. i mean come on, where is your sense of art when putting that on?? or at least make it invisible when we don’t use it. it ruined my character looks…

Could you tell me, in your opinion, where the string in that bow should be?

For a game that claim everything is all about cosmetic this is just wrong. i know how bow works (duhh) what i don’t like is how they put so very few effort on doing it. it’s like, lets just jam this here and be done with it. lets just stick this string in one if the pointy thing and hope no one notice. they even put this hideous string on kudzu.

Opinions…

I like that the bows have strings. It makes them look like… um… bows.

Instead of just curved pieces of wood/metal/whatever.

Removing the string would make it look worse…because then you wouldn’t have a bow, you’d have a bent stick! There are a few bows that would be acceptable without a string though. The asuran ones, fractal, ice and of course Kudzu.

Sure that is another opinion. but i think you guys missing the point too. if they make the string have the same theme as the weapon then maybe it is ok. but just to put string randomly like that is not good. like i said “or at least make it invisible if we don’t use it” some other weapon are like that. you don’t see incinerator glow when you don’t use it, why not implement something like that. after all you can’t see the string in the preview window, and for me personally that looks better.

It’s a bow….
